I'm building a maze, it's going to be hellishly difficult and eventually I'm going to do an event similar to the 200x200 maze nicodemux has done before. It will have a good prize and it's going to have a fair lot of participants. Now I have an idea for a little extra twist. Enabling PvP in the maze. Every time you die you can request to teleport back to the maze's start. The first person to reach the end wins. Now since I can see issues with this, the pvp aspect would only be enabled in a specific part of the maze. Armour and using anything but an unenchanted stone sword would be forbidden. It's currently just a small maze (see spoiler below), but it's a maze that you'll spend over an hour in because it's so disorienting. Spoiler: MAZE So, how many of you would be interested in this? And how many of you would want PvP enabled?
I think it sounds fun but I think it would be best without pvp because of mcmmo. I think that it would be most fun if everyone had an equal chance.
Would fly/speed be allowed? That could give people huge advantages. Also, mcmmo would give pvp'ers big advantages. Will it be like nico's maze where you find letters to make a message, or do you just need to get to the end. If I can get on, I would be happy to participate in this event.
Mcmmo really doesn't matter, just look back at the olympics people who were 1-100 in swords for example wrecked people with 1000 swords, just more skill is involved.
Maybe have the maze split off? <-- PVP Enabled PVP Free --> This would allow the runners to choose. You could have the PVP Free side be a longer route or "trickier" to incentivize the danger of the PVP side. Just a thought.
*Looks At Maze, Looks at my random map* I step one step in a maze and i automatically get lost....it'll take a bit longer than few hours for me!!
