Ok, so resident, check...fortune 3 unbreakabe 3 pick, 2000exp from eff 5....check, survivor...almost there! Now looking ahead, when you apply for mayor do you automatically get a town? If I choose to sell my town, can I apply for another down the road or do I have to buy from another user when I want a town?
When you apply for mayor you automatically get a town with the rank. You will map out this town before applying. See this link You can get more towns by ranking up to president. President comes with a town and once you are a president you have the option to purchase more towns. (Note that these towns cost a good deal more to buy and your mayor town is the cheapest original town you can get)
So this is how it works, when you apply for mayor you get a town and if you sell that town the only way to get a town for yourself is to either apply for president which costs 180,000$ ECD and you get a town or buy one from another user
OK, and I re-and-re-read the wiki and got a good grasp on this. I was considering selling my first town for the cost of my mayor application but decided I definitely do not want to do that. Although have thought about other possible options, like renting my first town to a president/tycoon or whatever, but want to retain ownership for sure. Once I post my 4 post and claim my town and it's approved, can those signs be griefed or are they pretty well permanent? Can anything inside the 4 post be touched by outside players if they are not approved by me? I guess I'm getting ahead of myself as I'm planning on buying survivor here pretty quick so 85k is a ways away...but like to plan ahead...
anything inside the area you claim as your town cannot be touched by outside players unless they are added to the town by you. Also, you can remove the signs after your mayor app is done they don't have to stay.
Once you put the 4 posts they can be griefed, but once you mayor application is accepted then they are apart of your town and can only be edited by the people you added to it. The only people that can edit blocks inside your town is the people you add
