The Y coordinate is the vertical coordinate in minecraft, correct? As opposed to Z in a normal grid. I want my base from bedrock to sky build limit if that is possible. I have not played on a server in ~7 years so I apologize if I am a bit rusty.

 

I have placed signs with my town name on cobble nerd poles with torches on top @ the 4 corners of my town.
