    Minecraft Name:Nick0jenna Suggestion:"mature" chat channel. A chat channel for "mature" players that would allow for talk of subjects such as but not limited to [politics, sex, drugs/ drug uses, alcohol, violence, etc.]. Because this channel would exist there would be less to no tolerance for talking about "inappropriate" subjects in the main chat channels.
    Reason:To allow for a "mature" chat to keep theses subjects out of the main chat channels. I beleve this would create a more friendlycommunity in the main chat channels.     Any Other Information:N/A Link To This Plugin:N/A

    hear me out, if there was such a channel with proper warnings to viewers would it not make "inappropriate" topics in other channels 100% un tolerated... i would make main channels cleaner? no? hypothetically of corse

    You suggest for a channel you wouldn't use?

    All users who join EcoCityCraft and have read the rules understand that the discussion of inappropriate topics is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Drugs
    • Sex
    • Alcohol
    • Foul Language
    • Religion
    • Politics
    • Sexuality
    • Violence
    • Harassment
    • Bullying
    • Anything deemed inappropriate by the staff team.
    These rules are universal and apply to all public channels. We, as staff members, are hired to keep EcoCityCraft a safe community for all members. Whether they are 4 or 40, discussion is always kept PG. There have been moments in chat when things get out of hand. When they do, the user is punished and the topic is forcibly changed. If you feel the absolute need to discuss such subjects, it will not happen on a service offered by EcoCityCraft. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • In-Game chat
    • Forums
    • Ventrilo
    • IRC

    That type of rule change = absolute mess to enforce. Leaves more room for misunderstanding. And then you touch on the realm of subjects hitting illegalities, specifically drugs in some areas of the world (we are an international server), plus there would be no way to really stop people who weren't of age from accessing the channel without implementing another system of some sort, because we can't prove age, and then ragey parents call Andrew and all the mess.

    These topics are banned from ECC for good reason. They have caused oh so many arguments in the past and breaking up these arguments usually has me kicking folks from the server. This is not what I would like to be doing, but folks can not talk about these topics usually without you know what hitting the fan. Sorry, but moderating this channel would be a huge problem, and users would just learn to get mad and not like each other. A huge no from me.
