Minecraft Name: FamilyFurst Suggestion: Change Vip chat color to Aqua/&B Reason: As it stands, I get confused, or mischan a lot because of party and Vip colors being the same. It is hard to fault a player for a mischan in this manner, but it also hard to keep up with anything if party chat is getting serious, but Vip is spammy, or vice versa. I definitely think a different color would help cut down confusion, our eyes bleeding, mischans, and just be more pleasant overall. Other Information: #Stopbloodyeyes #Freetheeyeballs #Stopthemischans Link to this plugin/Is this a custom addition?: They got lights that literally plug in and work with Echo Dot/Alexa and such now. Pretty crazy plugin if you ask me! @Frostystorm1
@andrewkm and I discussed this change on some day a few weeks ago but could never come up with a good color, I +1 it because it helps my eyes when vip is scrolling by quickly. No one really uses auction chat anyways
I have no idea what this has to do with the suggestion. Anyway, in my opinion chat channels should have somewhat unique colors (or at least grouped by theme, e.g. local/mining/end/SG chat for area-specific channels), so it shouldn't be &2 due to auction chat - however, that brings us to the question of which other colors we could use. I posted the full list of used color codes when it was suggested to change the color of party chat; that list didn't really leave many options for chat colors.
Depends on the player. I'm not in a party but have to moderate /ch auc, so auction chat is more important to me.
But parties are actually consistently used, when auction is getting about the same amount of usage as the dead market
What if we made it the color of trivia chat and just removed trivia chat, then allowed trivia to be done in global again? Nobody even uses trivia chat anyways...
What if we made trivia and auction the same color, distinct by a different color symbol in front of the name (the [G], [Tr], etc) then made VIP auction color?
