Denied Make staff have their nickname match their IGN (2.0)

I agree with this concept, however, since trolls know that they can /v and troll and not be ignored, which is what every player is told to do each time they are bothered.

The staff are very nice rich people who bought that feature for 50 dollars. In some cases with nick+100 dollars total. They have a right to have their nickname what they want. It still may be confusing but if builders need a mod most just say "could I get an admin to help me" so yeah. Plus there is /rn.

 

Not everyone knows about /rn or /realname, and some people might not know that they even have nickname.

And I also think that /rn is a custom command because I do not believe that the normal nickname plugin has /rn I believe that they have /realname instead of /rn

Yeah, the shortening is custom but /rn isn't exactly another plugin. You'd just modify /realname.

After purchasing nickname, I quite like to change my display name. I agree with @kukelekuuk00 with making Nickname hook in with the current PM system. As for the suggestion, I'm kind of on the fence of both sides.

 

+1 This kind've pissed me off as a new player and it even still throws me off today. It should be you can have your username without your numbers (ie. 'oreo' instead of 'oreo1227') but something as silly as fish would just throw off everybody online who sees it.

Yes, I think it is, Staff are being told off for having nicknames not related to their names so I think this has been accepted and should be officially confirmed by someone who still has power

Lol no malicious intent was included and I don't know how you could possibly get that vibe from 'I guess this was accepted..?' It was an open question, and since when is it bad or illegal to bump suggestions however old they are? It seems to me that your reasoning behind posting something completely irrelevant to the discussion, I suggest forum PMing / PMing ingame to state something like that.

And yes I did read the suggestion. I know exactly what it includes, and I am generally wondering if this has been accepted or if this has been altered and accepted.
