We're all aware that there are quite a few things on the wiki that are outdated, and Sky's on an updating rampage. But I can't do it all myself. There are quite a few articles on this page that could contain outdated information, and I'm not quite all knowing about the server. So here's what I want. If there's something that's been bugging you about the wiki, if there's a spelling error somewhere that really gets your goat, or outdated information that makes you want to pull your hair out everytime you see it, let me know here. What I'm particularly looking to fix are the articles on the above linked page, but I can always add things to Andrew's to-do list if you find something on a page I cannot edit myself. And give me suggestions; I can always add things to articles, rework articles or even work on new articles if you have an article idea or an actual article you want to get on there! I can't promise all updates will be instantaneous, or that I will take every suggestion, but give me something to at least have on the list. And while you guys are at it, don't forget that Mayors+ can post in the Mayors+ section to get their town information posted to the wiki! Updating the Rules Page, The Mayor page for applications; it needs to be updated to the most current available features. And lastly, the Wiki Team Page I ought to get you a cookie
The rules page recently got an overhaul (though if anything else pops up that needs to be updated I will be making note of it) I'll take a look at the mayor application and see what needs to be added. Wiki team page, that's not exactly simple
With the rules there is still a rule I am unsure on. It says: 'Clause V: User-User EcoDollar-Real Money Transfers Real life money transfer being done User-User are not allowed. If this is caught during our daily checks/investigations, the user on the receiving end of the EcoDollars will have those deducted from his account. Furthermore, the initial seller of the EcoDollars will have their account banned. We absolutely do not allow this on the EcoCityCraft server because of the various implications it can cause.' But there is no mention of buying items in real life with ecodollars which I am pretty sure is against the rules.
I looked through pretty much every Wiki page, and the following need some major updates: beginners guide to the aether builder faq buiders getting started guide ecc starters guide ecocity server store joining a town making money 101 server faqs server features I might end up rewriting a few of these myself, should I get some free time (darn player limit and lack of donation features!).
I have already done a minor update to Making Money 101, but I agree it has room for improvement. EcoCity Server Store will definitely be a high priority, as I have a great deal of knowledge in that area. If you do want to rewrite an article, just give me a heads up which one(s) and I'll try not to touch them until you have a chance to clou44 mattybillo1, I certainly agree and am putting that on my Andrew related to-do list. :3 Will be doing more updating tomorrow night, as tonight I have to cram for this exam -.-
i think you should make an allowed mods list as "hacks" and "mods" can be interpreted differently. You should have a list like fullbright, minimap, etc. as a lst and at the end say "To be updated often" or something like that becuase some players think hacking can mean minimap but some people may count hacking as crashing the server, etc. or something VERY illegal. Add the definition of trolling showed on this page(http://www.ecocitycraft.com/wiki/index.php?title=Common_User_Slang_Terms) into the rules section to add a clear definition of trolling.
I hereby add my endorsement for bypassing server limits for mods. A mod should be able to get on no matter if the server is full !! -- That had me a little spooked to hear that some mods can't get online due to server limit.

A bunch of picture links need to be updated. I'm at school now, but I'll work on finding the broken links and replacing them with new pictures
Here are 3 changes that should be made: 1. http://www.ecocitycraft.com/wiki/index.php?title=Server_Features - PVP world will soon be needed on this list, when it is made. 2. http://www.ecocitycraft.com/wiki/index.php?title=Server_Ranks#Residents - Access to use the Mining World portals will need to be removed because mining world is available to builders too now. 3. http://www.ecocitycraft.com/wiki/index.php?title=Server_Features#Mining - PVP is enabled needs to be changed to PVP is disabled. Also, the first sentence "To get to the mining worlds you must be a resident ranked user or higher." needs to be changed to All players can access mining world, or removed.
Will be making all the major updates in regards to the server changes this week on the weekend; I will make sure all these things are updated appropriately at that time. Thanks guys! (Will also be doing some other major updates. I'm basically going to go on a wiki rampage, woohoo!)
