Title explains it all. At least make it unable to leave player's inventory, except when transferring the item to the chest which normally should be allowed. At least that would prevent the item losses from being butchered, one of my item recently got dropped from my inventory for no whatsoever reason then got despawned by butcher even if I did not touch the drop key which is binded to a key in other side of the keyboard. Since there is a system that prevents item (w/lore) from being crafted, it may be possible from it being dropped.
