Frankly, I have been on this server for a few days now. And already have had several people commit disgusting and toxic acts. And frankly it is not giving me or the other builders I speak to a very good impression of the server. Crap like this, is what me and other new players to your server have to deal with. I took this screenshot as an example. I have had several Presidents including the likes of Rockboy2000 and some guy named Greek18 or what ever the rest of his name is go around calling everybody Alts of iStomp. Frankly it is simple toxic behavior that mods right now currently overlook. It does nothing but make your server community look toxic by trying to trick new players into getting banned as you see above.
Whats funny is how he knows istomp and he has been on 2 days suddenly knows how to run the server and what to do -1
Well, it's hard not to know who istomp is when everyone's talking about it in global. Not that it's really relevant.. The problem is that staff just lets global go nuts. They let everyone accuse every builder of being istomp. It's pretty stupid.
That is what I am addressing. I want to make it a temp bannable offence to be going around in /tell and /global accusing everybody of being iStomp. This is not an alt account and I can prove it with a moderator's permission to link my forum account of the exact same stature on another minecraft server's forum that I have played on since 2012.
I'm pretty sure that admitting to being a perma banned player is a bannable offence in itself already, and I do see what you mean, as pretty much every new player who logs on now is accused of being istomp the second they do something wrong. Frankly, This is disgusting to see this coming from our usually welcoming community. Yes, there are a couple of alts that log on each day who do turn out to be istomp, but it's not nice to see every builder who logs on being accused of being a perma banned player. The community as a whole is supposed to be welcoming to new players and willing to help whenever new players have questions, not slandering them the second that they talk in global. I think this is something that needs to be sorted out now, as the new players who log on are the future of ECC and if they log on and get harassed, what does that make us look like as a community? And I doubt anyone new really wants to stay in a community where they get a bad impression from the first time they log on. +1 Please can we get this sorted out
Exactly my point. And when you have players also going around trying to trick new and unknowing people into saying that they are iStomp. Yeah. You can see where I am coming from. And there is clear plain as day evidence of it in the screenshot. ANd that is just one example out of 20 of them i can provide so far. And thats just from a couple days on this server.
Also, I am pretty sure that the user in the screenshot you provided, is already banned for being istomp. But what he is trying to make new players do by saying this in global is completely out of order. As new players who log on may not have any clue who istomp is, and might want to get 40k as the user states in the screenshot, and they will then be banned for doing something they had no idea was against the rules.
Agreed, @GeorgiaMC and @kukelekuuk00. This behavior is disgusting and it's even more disgusting that nothing has been done about it.

Well then you quietly bring it to a moderator's attention like a rational human being and the moderator looks into it. Frankly I thought the human race has evolved past the need to go around accusing people without evidence.
Frankly, behavior this stupid has not occured since the middle ages when people would go around accusing random women of being witches.
Don't be stupid - If you really think someone is iStomp, just PM a GA. Nothing is preventing you from doing that. All this is doing is making the server unwelcoming for newer players. You're having absolutely every builder being accused "of being iStomp", that it's become more of a joke to some players - Players are beginning to troll with it. This just makes players quit, makes it unwelcoming for newer players and causes drama - Something iStomp WANTS. I don't any reason to oppose this suggestion, and I can't see any effects else than positive ones coming out of it. +1
The issue also lies within the fact that this person istomp likes to troll around off peak hours when there may not always be a moderator on. And though it has seemed to be a pattern, he does not always talk in global before trying to scam someone. I myself have received tells from builders, whom I could probably safely assume to be istomp, trying to sell me features. Just randomly. I hadn't advertised that I was interested or anything. I could very easily have gotten scammed myself had I not thought things thru and been reading what had been going on for the past few days. Now I am in no way saying that the victims are any less victims because they fall prey to a scam. They are being targeted. And the sorry thing is that we as a community can do very little to prevent it. The only solutions I can think of are to promote some off peak mods and try to spread awareness. Now I don't mean accuse every new builder of being istomp. I mean more of trying to emphasize that trusted users to buy features from are those with tags by their names, and are probably at LEAST Mayor rank if not higher. When he's out and about trying to kill users by advertising selling an EFF7 it's a little more obvious and avoidable. Grief, though a huge frustration factor, can be rolled back and farms can be replanted. If we distrust every builder who walks through our doors we are going to put off legitimate users who might one day bring great things and instead we will be left with a dying server full of seasoned users who have xenophobia. Now I don't think it should have to go so far as to having to temp-ban people for accusations, but we as a community need to get ourselves together and realize that some behavior of our own just isn't acceptable and change our ways. Let's stop the obvious builder bashing please
I think people need to be more careful with accusations but honestly it's hard. There have been 20? 30 alts of him these past few days that when you see a builder your mind instantly fixates on that. It is not just me. It is the other honest builders like my self who have joined. I was hanging out with a builder yesterday who plain and simply quit the server due to this. It is just a rampant disgusting behavior that frankly should not be a part of any community. And it is not like it is a couple people doing it. It is a large chunk of people. Frankly doing stupid behavior like that in public chats is giving iStomp exactly what he wants. Those idiots are only fueling it. And I think they are well aware that they are giving him what he wants otherwise they would not be making light of the situation.
I agree with everyone you said, but you do have to realize people are getting frustrated. His alts have caused nothing but annoyance and immaturity, people should not accuse anyone right away, though. Pm'ing a sa+ is the best bet.
Yup I can agree to that. That said, when a person just logs on to the server for the first time and decide to ask for help. And the first thing they see is stuff like above. It's not very welcoming. Its a shame it got that far, but frankly I think I know who iStomp is. There was a person like that on the server I used to play on by the name of Odraq or something of that nature. Did the exact same thing. Hell i wouldnt be surprised if it is the same person.
