It is a *edit* feeling to think you have claimed a spawnshop and then have the administration say "hold on there, we might auction it off." This isn't somrthing that should be a judgement call because it opens up the possibility of favoritism. Make a rule something like this: all expiring spawnshops at X row or earlier will be auctioned off." This way, we know what to expect and don't get our hopes up. And we don't feel cheated by the administration.
I agree, I will look into adding something asap. With regards to your application, as 3point posted before you he would get it if we don't auction it. Would you like me to proceed with the rest of your choices?
I believe his choices are identical to mine, unfortunately. So, I won't get the 2nd choice if you auction it.

I also agree with this and posted a similar thread, however as I had tanstaaf l on ignore for his troll ratings I had missed this thread. Dewsy kindly pointed me in the right direction. I would also like to see the ruling updated in regards to how many spawn shops you can own. I actually think the current ruling of 1 per user is fair, however it appears that you can in fact own 2 shops, not just any 2 either 2 top tier shops!
This may seem to come from a biased point of view as I am an affected party, but I was slightly confused as to why a 3rd row shop was decided to be auctioned. My rationale comes from remembering that only the Big 4 shops in the old market were actually auctioned (and perhaps the 4 long ones closest to the portal, but I recall someone getting that without an auction once). But a 3rd row shop corresponds to being the best 17th-24th shop location wise, since the first 2 rows amount to 16 shops. Aside from the market layout change, what was the difference that resulted in having 24 shops auction-only instead of the 4-8 as was before?
Station 26 as much as it pains me to say it s(he killed my villager lol) should go to 3point14mp as the first applicant. If the ruling/wording of the current application is being changed as we speak then it would only be fair for those changes to be brought in from this day on. Given that a 3rd row shop that expired previously was not auctioned doing anything other than giving the shop to 3point14mp is unfair and could create further bad feeling which we need less not more of.
Also as I cannot comment on the actual auction page due to the rules within it I will quote dewsy here "Yes you are allowed to participate in this auction even if you already own a trade shop, you will however forfit the one you currently own." This isn't actually the case though is it? You don't have to forfeit your shop you can just rent it to another user and rent another from the server right? So one user could own every shop? lol.. or wait does it depend on who that user is? idk but it certainly could feel that way
