This is the first of many major problems within ECC that I deel need to be majorly changed. This suggestion contains many smaller ones inside of it, feel free to hate on one and promote another, or hate them all or promote them all. First and Foremost: Disarm It must be removed. Disarm creates a problem where it has become so common you would have to be a fool to run into PvP with a sword at all. Which means most people out there dont have swords. Which means, due to the extremely slow nature of damage taken froma punch, fights are really just degrading your armour until you, meh, decide your hearts are a little to low. Teleport. In addition, this means that people dont really need swords. A market is destroyed, and we are a hardcore economy, no? Exp is a method of money earning that does not directly insert money into the economy. The more people who buy this for enchanted swords, the more deflation overall, because it will draw some people from farming into the exp market instead. Second: Vanish Quite obviously a major problem. There are a few solutions to this problem. One solution would be to remove it entirely from nether and mining world. This would also be the best solution, in regards to inter-donor fairness. If investigators can be invincible in nether to get over lava, shouldnt fliers be able to do the same? They both donated quite a bit of money for it, so why is one restricted and the other unlimited? Which leads us to the second (my least favorite) solution, allowing flyers to fly in mining world and nether as well. If your going to let one donation, you might as well let them all and ruin it all together. Third, the medium solution, is to create a five second delay after vanishing and before vanishing a three second delay before ithappens. Third: Teleport & Logout Simple stuff really, just make an anti-logout or teleport feature for mining world and nether only. Mainworld is fine.something like stand still and take no damage for 7 seconds and you can teleport. Or if you logout it spawns an npc to be killed for 7 seconds, which is refreshed every time the npc takes damage. If no damage, it disappears. That about sums it up. First, the disarm ability. I don't think taking it away is the best idea, as it would upset the people who trained very hard to get a higher unarmed skill. My suggestion is to simply reduce the chance of disarming someone. Second, Investigator. Fly costs $60, while Investigator costs $100. It costs almost twice as much as fly in cash almost three times as much in EcoDollars because it is hard to find someone trustworthy to donate $100 for you. So I disagree about allowing Fly in the Nether/Mining World to "even it out". In regards to "nerfing" Investigator, andrewkm has already commented on that: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=27372&start=20#p132291 In regards to the teleport suggestion in the mining world, I disagree. The Mining World is not called the PVP world. Yes, mobs and PVP are enabled for more of a challenge, but by doing this you are giving a huge advantage to those who go to the Mining World to kill people, not to mine, which will discourage mining. I agree that it should be implemented in the Nether though, as it was made for the specific purpose of PVP-ing.
i disagree with disarm as its apart of a mod and if u take disarm because its a disadvantage and people exploit it then might as well take excavation away because its also a disadvantage and people use it to make cash fast + many other mcmmo features I aggree with vanish it is the most ridiculous thing to give to no mods as they use it in pvp, troll pvp is the main problem they vanish go behind u can kill u or push into hole and /tp /warp /spawn logging out cant be fixed im affraid as its an unstoppable thing anyone can just press alt f4 while dieing andrewkm cant stop it and warping wont work in Mw as if someone is way out minning how does he get back?
People don't hunt miners, at least not that i have seen. The pvp overhaul i suggested most likely wont be implemented. but as it stands PvP is a waste of time and effort. we might as well fill the pvp pit with lava, jump in and wait until just before we die then tp out. no real difference. oh yeah, and maybe when we jump we can just throw our swords in as well.
We don't need a PvP overhaul to be honest. We need a Nether overhaul. Remove invisibility from the Nether, remove all teleport commands, and add cool PvP stuff like factions or something.
disarm should be reduced, not removed. Vanish should indeed have a cooldown and timer to use it. Teleport and log out, I think that should be left alone.
I agree with kuke. As long as people are unable to use vanish to try and kill others outside of pvping. I have almost died 3 times if I hadnt tped. Disarm needs to be reduced. A lot of the users who have high unarmed got it by means that are no longer allowed which is unfair to newer members in my opinion. I have no issues with tp or logging this is not a hardcore pvp server so not everyone is equipped equally and people should have the option to leave at anytim and now with vanish it is almost required. Honestly pvp has always been sort of a joke on ecc, but then again its an economy server so that is expected. I will continue to say that watching and hearing several users who only purchased the feature for the advantages in pvp (you know who you are) are well aware of how foolish they look running around and attacking unsuspecting pvpers. I know that there are many decent pvpers out there like me who actually like this new challenge and I look foward defeating you very soon!
Even if disarm is reduced, it will still mean the loss of swords, and high level people will still be able to disarm at such a rate that no one will go out there. The only other solution for disarm is to modify it to place the sword elsewhere in your inventory instead of dropping it.
i do like the idea of disarming places the weapon into their inventory, i've lost countless swords to people who just cross the safe zone when i do just to punch me, grab my sword and run back. Enchants may be easier to get now, however a good sword could cost you 5-10k and when you lose that almost every time you run into the mining world the money adds up. i've lost about 100k in swords that people just punch me a couple times for. The disarming rate is way to high.
well, the "not that I have seen" part is true. i have mined many times, never even had a close encounter.
I completely agree. I myself have a high disarm chance, and if you were to completely remove it, I would have no complaints. Vanish is so clearly a problem. PvP is a great addition to the server and to see it slowly fade into nothing is a colossal let down. I think we should have one big movement and decide what to remove and what to keep. I hope this gets fixed soon.

I agree with ALL points made here, how is it fair if a user with vanish and follows you until you find diamonds or emeralds, unvarnished and kills you? People will go in with NO armor NO weapons, just a high unarmed skill and will hit you until they disarm your sword and tp out.
