Thanks for the link Sleeper, however, I do not see instructions with-in the tutorial for trading items for other items with-out using ECC dollars. I only see instructions how to trade items for ECC Dollars.
You are correct that you can't setup a chest shop that trades an item for an item. But, why is this needed when you can use multiple shops, for buying and selling all the items that you wanted to trade for ECD. For example you wanted to trade 2 pumpkins for a melon and a pumpkin is worth .50 ECD and a melon it worth 1 ECD just make the chest shops for the worth. Doing this doesn't limit trades.
I would like to trade items, with-out using ECC dollars. A lot of newer players have little, to no ECC money when they start-out. I think this would be a great way to get started with-out discouraging newer players who are in need of ECC dollars.
Yes, I would. I feel like I was not clear enough in my original post. I am looking for the option to set up a trade chest for either other items, or ECD.
I understand but in my honest view is that we shouldn't scare new users to using ECD, but encouraging new users this addition wouldn't help.
Wait for the person to log in and use /trade I don’t see the usefulness of a “trade chest” If they want a certain item they will put up a buy sign, if they want to sell an item they will put up a sell sign.
for the player putting up the signs, I would assume they have ECC dollars to buy the items. I would like to have the option to trade with others when they are not online.
If I’m not mistaken this was an ability with the old trade signs, and I used it to trade iron ore for iron ingots when cook pots when away. Not sure if this is available with the current chestshop plugin but it would be useful!
Not possible with our current shop setup. However even if it was, we would not add this ability for administrative reasons.
