Town:Town Portal App - Mayor Approval​

What are you suggesting:

Town to Town (Town:Town) Portal Applications should be able to be filed by co-mayors with the approval of the official legal owner of the town commenting their approval. We already have a similar system in place with the creation of Towns - if a town is within 15 blocks radius of another town, it cannot be created *unless the owner of the town already in place grants the new town approval to be created.*

According to our Wiki,

"No portal may be anywhere outside your land. Meaning you must be the actual mayor (Not co-mayor) of each town. You cannot link a portal in your town to a town your a co-mayor in)."

I can fully understand why this rule was implemented this way, let me get that out of the way! It would not be smart to allow co-mayors to randomly apply for town portals, because if the mayor was not approving of the portal it would cause a major issue. However, this rule does not allow for 2 different owners of 2 different towns to have their towns linked by portals.

I am suggesting that it would be good for the community and for Builder retention to have portals between friends' towns. I'll make a scenario for this to be visualized easier!

Let's say that I, Softly, own a town, NewYorkCity. My friend, Stolio, owns his own town, Nexus. I have plans to make my town a plot town, and Stolio has plans to make his town a farm. Stolio and I think it would be a great idea to offer a quick way for the residents in my town to get to his farm, simpler than a /warp, by just having a portal they can walk down the road to. This way, they can return to NewYorkCity just as simply as they traveled to Nexus! Stolio adds me as a comayor of Nexus, and I apply for a Town-to-Town portal! Stolio comments on the application, stating that he is the legal owner of Nexus and that he is in full agreement of the portal's creation.​

Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:

This would be helpful because it allows for more friends to help the community with both of their towns. It would be especially useful for Builder Plot Towns and separate Farm Towns made by other users, but even just 2 separate Builder Plot Towns owned by 2 separate owners being connected with one portal would allow for more trade, and for people starting out to meet new people!​
