A power of attorney (POA) or letter of attorney is a written authorization to represent or act on another's behalf in private affairs, business, or some other legal matter. The person authorizing the other to act is the principal, grantor, or donor (of the power). The one authorized to act is the agent, attorney, or in some common law jurisdictions, the attorney-in-fact.Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: I am advocating for POAs to be allowed under ECC jurisdiction because players who cannot make decisions on their own in the ECC universe (including, but not limited to, Main Server, MainNorth Server, and Website and Forums) to express their opinions on another person's behalf. For example, a player is hospitalized and has problems using the platform due to a plethora of reasons, such as a lack of time or incapability to make his/her own decisions. If he/she allows another person to be his/her POA, then the POA can continue to secure the hospitalized person's property, EcoDollars, and other assets on the platform. Unlike directly showing proof of permission, a POA already can act on behalf of his/her agent as long as proof of being the agent's POA is shown. This is heavily in relation to long-term players who have periods of inactivity.Other information: Plugin or custom addition: This will likely not need a plugin or custom addition as only proof in writing, speaking, etc. is required to prove one's POA status.One suggestion per form: I Understand.
This... doesn't need to be a suggestion? If you want someone to take care of your stuff while you're gone then just ask a friend. I've seen countless times where other people paid off debts owed by different people... just a little confused on why you're posting this.
I suffer from a chronic illness and have had several hospitalizations. I just have a few people I trust, and let admins know they may be logging on my acct to take care of business. why make more work for staff when they are already over taxed?
No, we're a Minecraft server. You can think of literally countless ways to prepare for such an event anyhow - In fact, I'll give you one idea: convert all excess cash on hand into netherstars and store it in a chest that your best friends are cmodified to. See? Problem solved. Really, we're a video game here. Adding complex, unneeded things that nobody will use (And most definitely will cause problems if used) is silly
