I like this idea. It separates high action magic tool users from the users who just want to build in their town or go about their business. I know main north is already in progress but I think that a magic only world would be a better (or at least a good supplement to main north) to aid in lag reduction.
-1, Suggestions like this have been proposed several different ways, several different times, and get denied for a myriad of reasons. This wouldn't even solve the issue, as having all of magic on one server is the current issue, which is why MN is coming out. Doing something like this would defeat the purpose of trying to distribute that load entirely.
Past Main North coming, let me further elaborate that if we have one server where people are doing their magic stuff, it will probably be just as laggy since everyone who even has a magic tool will be there doing their thing. Reason the last magic day was so laggy was because it was on a Sunday in the summer. Next magic day is a Monday after people go back to school. And the next four magic days will be on weekdays. Just based on that, less people will be doing magic day stuff all day due to school, work, or other irl stuff.
