In Game Name: Theranos What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: Main Server Short title for your suggestion: Decrease minimum auction increment What are you suggesting: Decreasing the minimum auction increment (/ch auc) from 100 ECD to be more representative of the new higher-currency-value economy. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: With the recent economy change to a higher-value currency, the current minimum auction increment of 100 ECD has become inappropriate for lower-value (<1,000 ECD) items as the increment is too large relative to their value, and therefore does not allow for finer bids. 100 ECC 2.0 dollars is 10,000 ECC 1.0 dollars (if we are using the exchange rate as a hypothetical approximation), it doesn't make sense to have the minimum auction increment effectively be 10k. If someone is auctioning a stack of iron, for example, for 400 ECD, the only option someone has right now is to either be the first one to bid, or to significantly overbid at 500 or 600 ECD. Other information: Although I leave the specific minimum bid discussion up to the staff, I believe a more appropriate new minimum bid increment considering the economy changes would be 5-20 ECD. Nice math...? lol +1 still players can always set a higher amount and everyone can ignore auction spam if they want.
I prefer you leave these small sale amounts to your stores, and advertise the stores via /ch trade. I quite like Auctions being used for things that are more expensive or come in very large quantities. Denied because I just don't agree with the suggestion.
