+1, +2, or even +3 at this point. I was eating nachos recently and I really think the universe put them in front of me as a sign, an emblem of hope to you Andrew. And here's why. This is nachos, (not yours, say it) to deny. This suggestion and my nachos were placed by God himself. Everyone knows this new command would bring hope and prosperity to the EcoCityCraft community, so why deny it? Why? Seriously give this one consideration mr. andy.
There's currently no implementation for /vp and due to the quite frankly extremely heavy use by players that DO use it, the /pv command will often be mistyped. I see no reasonable argument against the implementation of /vp as it alleviates a common problem pretty much every user of playervaults faces. If the implementation of such a command would be a daunting task, i'd probably understand your sentiment, but seeing as the implementation of an alternative like this is to my knowledge little to no work, i would like a more concrete argument against the suggestion other than "no just don't mistype". EDIT: To drive my point home i mistyped /pv once in this comment.
-1 literally /pv is easier than /vp. Why spend time coding something like this when there are other, more serious issues to attend to.
It's not a matter of which is easier, it's both being there so no matter which order you type, correct or incorrect, you'll pull up a vault. Additionally, i don't think "there's more serious matters to attend to" is a valid argument to completely dismiss a suggestion especially if not supported by examples of work currently being done and there being no room for additions. Plus, let's be honest, i think we both know that nobody would complain if this command alt already existed, and that quite a few players would find it neat to find out that even if they typo'd it, it still works.
How about the battle with Anticheat 501? Plus, Andrew has stated countless times that 2021 is a busy year for ECC as he has many plans for the future. I'm sure everyone would agree his time is better suited for something like that. Seeing as how there is only one +1 (which is a meme +1) and like five -1's (not to mention the reactions that are typically associated with disagreement), this statement has no claim. If it is that widespread of an issue, then I agree it needs to be addressed, but if there isn't really an issue, then why should devs sink time into it when there are other things they can be doing?
