In Game Name: freddyagogoWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: Main ServerShort title for your suggestion: Add Concrete Powder to /smeltallWhat are you suggesting: Give the members with access to /smeltall to smelt all their Concrete Powder and convert it into Concrete. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: Part of Smelt.Other information: N/APlugin or custom addition: N/AOne suggestion per form: I Understand.
Why, though? /smelt(all) is designed to remove the need for furnaces by handling furnace recipes. Converting concrete powder to concrete, however, has nothing to do with smelting.
Coincidentally, I actually talked to someone about this today when I was building with concrete. He said that there is a plug-in for this. I’ll link it if I can find it.
It's still a process of subcreating a material (If I explain myself), I'm sure there were other things that didn't need a Furnace but still work and are useful with /smeltall
Of course such materials exist, but I am pretty certain that none of those can be transformed via /smelt because it's exclusively limited to furnace recipes.
+1 I actually like this idea as having to place concrete powder, place water everywhere then mine it back up is super annoying. Maybe it could be added to ExtCommands++??
theres 2 ways of easily converting powder into concrete: 1. pile up all the powder above an infinite water source (above a single block of this source so it gets refilled ever time) and then just mine it holding the mouse button 2. put the powder into off hand and the pick in the main hand and just alternate the clicks or hold the right button and just click to mine the concrete basically this would be the same effort like fortuning a bunch of ores
Yes but then you won't have to worry about water going everywhere. Also it would kinda give a use for /smelt as nowadays pretty much everyone who has /smelt has Silk pickaxes so other than glass, I don't see much use for /smelt unless it has other features that I don't know about. This would be perfect for building large projects with concrete powder and save a whole load of time of awkward water placing. Like it was said above the only problem with this is that /smelt is used for furnace recipes therefore might not be able to happen.
