Minecraft Username: kenny0011 Brief Description: Smelting iron seems to use half the expected amount of coal (1 coal smelts 16 iron ore) Instructions: Place iron and coal into furnace, stack of ore will only require ~4 coal to fully smelt iron How many times did you recreate this?: Did it a couple of days ago but put it down to error in putting coal in furnace. Did once again today and noticed it again. Finally did some testing and again and seems to be error. I am running 1.13 and relogged to check if visual glitch. Furthermore, smelting sand to glass does not seem to cause issue, and so seems limited to iron ore to ingots. Result: In testing, 1 coal smelted 16 iron ores into ingots Expected Result: 8 iron ingots produced, with 8 remaining unsmelted. Evidence: Spoiler: Beginning of Smelt Spoiler: End Of Smelting
Refer to --> https://mcmmo.fandom.com/wiki/Smelting Smelting level is the same as your mining level, so at 1k levels of mining you get 4x the burn time. You can also /smelting in-game to see.
@ClarinetPhoenix @UnitedStates2 Please do some testing. I’m assuming this is mcMMO related and not a bug?
Checking /smithing , my fuel efficeincy multiplyer is x2.23, so seems to explain that I use about half as much coal, so assuming it might be mcMMO and intentional.
Alright cool. Thanks. I wasn’t actually familiar with that part of mcmmo and didn’t have a chance to test/check today.
