    In Game Name:
What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for:
    Main City Server.
    Short title for your suggestion:
    Remove Polar Bear Spawners.
    What are you suggesting:
When mining next resets, remove the ability to get polar bear spawners & restore the prices of fish to their pre-nerf values.
Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
We usually advise new players to mine, farm, or fish to make their money. Unfortunately, only the first two are currently viable due to the recent fishing nerf due to polar bear spawners. Those spawners were able to make an inordinate amount of money, which led to the prices of fish going down to contain this. This has had the adverse effect of making fishing a bad alternative for both new players and star rod owners.

Prior to the nerf, fishing with a star rod would make 80-90% of what you could get with one of the other two 2200 netherstar tools. Obtaining a max fishing rod also was a decent investment for Builders and Residents alike. However, with the prices of the two most common types of fish (cod and salmon) getting halved, fishing now only makes a fraction of what it used to make before and has returned to the sorry state of irrelevance.

What I am suggesting is the removal of polar bear spawners from the Spawner Crate once the mining world resets and raising fish prices again. People with access to crate keys have access to a variety of other spawners that are capable of making a lot of money in mob drops/experience and the removal of one type of spawner should not cause any issues. On the other hand, the fishing nerf has been detrimental to most other players, effectively devaluing star rods and max rods. Although these changes may end up being a minor inconvenience for spawner key owners, they will positively affect a large proportion of new players and tool owners.

Having more options to earn money for starting players is in the long run better for the server over a few people buying the spawner features and rolling polar bear spawners.
As gernen stated, the three main ways people are advised to earn decent money is fishing, farming and mining. and to my knowledge, quite a few newer players do indeed use fishing to earn their money.

Id rather see new players fish and earn money and stay on EcoCityCraft then a few players who have been here a little bit earn money purely from getting lucky on a roll from a bought feature.

This suggestion being implemented would benefit the many and hurt very few, if any because of the luck based roll you need anyway to get the drop.

Feel free to re-suggest in a few weeks.
No need to slam down change after change every day trying to fit someone’s view of “right” without any statistical evidence. Give it a few weeks so we can make proper evidence proven decissions.
