In Game Name: awsome428What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: Main City ServerShort title for your suggestion: Owners first on /rg iWhat are you suggesting: I wish for the original owner to be first instead of the co-owners to prevent confusion on who is the highest rank in the townWhy is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: Less confusion for peopleOther information: ive had people confused on who owns my town and wish to remove the doubt and make it simpler for towns with multiple ownersPlugin or custom addition: the region pluginOne suggestion per form: I Understand.
If possible, I'd like there to be an actual co-owner rank implemented into worldguard. It would prevent accidental trolls from removing the original owner from the town but still allow them to add people to the region. +1 Plus the possibilities with sub-regions would be nice now that they are a thing. If co-owners were added, you could add people to a sub-region as a co-owner to allow them to add people to plots - similar to how friends can join the server together and /cmodify their chests.
Sorry if I'm misunderstanding something but can't you just add them as an owner of the subregion for that?
You can't add owners to sub-regions, only members. Not sure why it's blocked. Although that's a different suggestion, it would be nice! For this suggestion, I suppose some sort of addition could be nice- but couldn't you just use the other flags (like the entry message) to accomplish this "Contact Samiwarber for all town questions"
I believe it's blocked with how sub-regions are handled by the parent region. If someone is a member of the parent region, they automatically have permissions to any sub-region. If it can be possible to add someone as an owner of a sub-region without interfering with permissions of the parent region that'd be great (maybe I should write this as a different suggestion, lol)
We have no controlling over WG and will not be forking such a major project just to rip it apart for something like this, which would also require we maintain a custom ECC fork until the end of time. You can find the original owner via the forums. An alternate solution is not to have co-owners, or simply add co-owners you genuinely trust.
