    Personally, I feel like simply putting a redstone torch behind the block is good enough.

    Not convenient/possible for certain building structures.

    Also, lit furnaces would be awesome if we could turn off the ability to use them. Good for kitchens

    While im a fan of wasting nstars, i feel as though using a redstone block or level or torch is good enough
