Denied [Main City Server Suggestion] Interest rate for the bank

    What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for:
    Main City Server​
    Short title for your suggestion:
    Interest rate for the bank​
    What are you suggesting:
    Add a 2% or 3% interest rate for the banks that pays out every in game week (7 minecraft days).​
    Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
    Many people don't use the banking system because there's not really a point to do so. Interest rates would give an incentive to store money in the bank.​

    The bank is a valid way of storing money and going to be the system of transferring money from main and main north. This is not needed -1

    2-3% is not very much, yet it gives an incentive to store money. Say you have 100,000 in the bank. You only earn 2-3K every hour and a half.

    As of the 21st of July there is actually more money in the forum bank than on the actual server. Additionally, there are more than a handful of people who have 1mil+ in their forum balance. In these cases they'd be literally generating 10k every week at 1% interest. I can tell you what Andrew is going to say.

    If anything, we should start charging for putting your money in the bank as it is avoids the file clean-up policy as well as being the only way to bet on sportsbook and transfer money to offline players.

    Banks IRL give out interest as a way to encourage you to give them their money so they can, well, make even more money with it. We have absolutely nothing to gain by "encouraging" users, especially when we're the only game in town. You wanna utilize the cool features listed above? Gotta use the bank.
