In Game Name: JffsprsWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: Main City ServerShort title for your suggestion: Enchanting BooksWhat are you suggesting: The ability to Enchant Books. To create Ebooks. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: This would give the player the option to place enchantments on books, by using the [enchant] signs and your exp, or purchase the enchants via books. This way a player can save it for future placement or to sell to another player, the enchantment could be placed as the need arises.Other information: This would just allow the player to enchant books or purchase them, with EXP at the /warp expshop. you can enchant tools etc, but atm you cant place or purchase those enchantment on books. You still have to use the [Enchant] signs, and your EXP.Plugin or custom addition: I believe that Essentials is what's used to provide the enchanting. No new plugin needed. One suggestion per form: I Understand.
The problem I see is how this impacts the exp market. If we can make ebooks, it's likely they'll be cheaper than buying at the expshop. Especially with the new lapis exp enchanting mechanics.
I'm pretty sure this would defeat the point in enchanting tables being disabled and would easily kill the value of max tools, it would make it so much easier to get them as you would barely even need half the xp you do now get certain enchantments if this was a thing. So imo for now -1
I believe everyone has misunderstood my suggestion. This isn't a feature request. It's just adding another item to be enchanted. You still have to use the [enchant] signs, and use your EXP.
The only thing I could see it impacting is villager trading, but other than that I say +1 because why not it’s nicer to have books.
He doesnt mean bringing enchanting tables back just like clicking the books on the xp signs and selling those books
Bump and a +1 if its possible. Shouldn't affect the exp market, enchants cost the same, and it makes book making/selling more convenient.
+1 Maybe add it to extcreations2. I think the exp market would be fine. Also it would actually take more out of the exp since it cost exp to enchant at the anvil.
