-1 we literally have emotion options on discord (as squid stated) and even on the forums Ingame is the only place that doesn’t have it, but why would we need it?
Not once have I thought "man I would be so less stressed right now if I could use an emoji in chat on ECC" People are able to use things like XD XP :^D :3 <3 as "emojis", no reason to spend time implementing something that basically already exists. Or do what @EtherealSquid suggested and use :thinking: and the like.
There's nearly 100 different characters on a QWERTY keyboard. There is an endless possibility combinations that you can do with it to make up new emojis. Clearly then, the problem lies not within the lack of additional emojis in chat, but the fact that you guys aren't creative enough to come up with new ones on your own.
