What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for:
    Main City Server
    Short title for your suggestion:
    Change to farm grief rules
    What are you suggesting:
That players who grief farms be asked to replant within 24 hours or they’ll be banned, rather than being banned directly.
Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
Lots of builders don’t really understand this concept of griefing a farm. They just think of it as farming.

I think it would be better to have the mayor (or staff) send them a mail saying they have 24 hours to replant the crops from the point of taking a look at the grief report. If they don’t replant, ban, but it’s disheartening to see players getting banned for farm griefing, when in their head they were just farming.

This really doesn't need to be implemented in the rules.
Most decent farm owners will give farm griefers a certain amount of time to replant anyway, and only file a complaint if they never replant after being asked to.
Anyway, staff give warnings to minor griefers, which most "farm griefs" would probably fall under. The amount of crops someone would need to harvest and not replant to be banned without warning is so large that the griefer would almost definitely have to be aware that what they're doing is wrong.
Finally, most farm owners have very clear rules about planting, which they'll tell any new players who buy perms there.

The gist of this is that if someone gets banned for farm griefing, they most likely didn't think of it as "just farming". If people ignore the town rules, ignore requests to replant the farm and harvest a large enough area that under the current rules they could be banned without warning, they almost definitely know that they're not "just farming".

Unless it is serious crop grief, we only warn/tempban for a short period. In short, it is common sense that harvesting plants should be followed by replanting and I feel the rules already sufficiently deal with the people who have made a mistake and those who have deliberately crop griefed.

Who in gods name will inforce this, monitor this, etc.
No, how about YOU as the town owner, take time to vet the people you add, and teach them proper farming etiquette. Lmao we're not gonna do your work for you. What even is this suggestion.

I don't want to see banning for minor farm grief, that was clearly done by not knowing how to farm, nor do I want it rolled back. Leave it be as a lesson to the town mayor for adding randoms into his/her farm. You can only ban for full blown STRUCTURAL farm grief.

    Adjust guidelines where necessary.
