You could use them to represent a team or friend group ( [TeamBird] for example), make a simple ad ( [WarpFarm] ) or just use them for memes ( [AndrewSmells], [SadPepe] etc). Mods/Admins could police any inappropriate ones if needed just as we do with nicknames.Other information: As long as it's not too hard to code back in, I think people would like this simple cosmetic addition.Plugin or custom addition: CustomOne suggestion per form: I Understand.
-1 People would be mad because they’d have to either repurchase them or lose patron. Besides chat is already cluttered enough.
+1 i miss my custom tag but i'd only support this if i got it back instead of having to repurchase it

Someone (believe it was me) suggested this the day ctags were removed. It's not that Andrew doesn't like them, it was because they physically could not be used. Now, I would love them back if they physically can be implemented again. (Will post Andrew's response to that suggestion when I find it again)
