Load arrows into inventory along with magic arrow 2. Shoot crossbow until the magic arrow is next to be used 3. Magic arrow does not stay in inventory and is shot How many times did you recreate this? Once Result: Magic arrow #KJQPEIJZ was shot from crossbow instead of being skipped over and using other arrows in inventory Expected Result: Magic arrow not actually used with crossbow and stays in inventory so that it can be used while grinding mobs. Fairly certain this is what happened, when I looked back down at the hot bar I saw no magic arrow after farming for a few seconds. I used a power tool with /sell all assigned to it. I don’t think this is due to the /sell all command but i supposed it is possible.
I can confirm that Magic Arrows, owned and unowned fire from Bows, Crossbows, and Dispensers and even when picked up they come a regular arrow again. I also tested out some of the other magic items with their game utility to see. Magic Bones can be fed to wolves if its in your hand, which makes the item disappear. However if you're not holding it in-hand and you have regular bone, regular bone is used. The Magic Netherwart can be used in a brewing stand, which consumes it in the process to make potions. The Magic Pufferfish can also be consumed as a potion item if it is placed into a brewing stand. Both the Magic Cod and Magic Salmon can be consumed when being held in hand and you attempt to use them on cats. However using regular Cod/Salmon in another stack in hand doesn't use the magic item. Mostly though the Magic Arrow being used as a normal Arrow is a problem, a player is likely to have it on him when he is using a bow/crossbow and it shouldn't be considered as valid ammo.

Magic Bone is no longer accepted by Wolves Magic Netherwart and Magic Pufferfish can no longer be placed in a brewing stand. Magic Cod and Magic Salmon is no longer accepted by Cats The Magic Arrow no longer fires from the Bow, Crossbow or Dispenser. The Magic Arrow does not fire from a Dispenser at all and remains in the Dispenser. The visual behavior of the Magic Arrow is a little odd, if you do happen to use a Bow or Crossbow and the Magic Arrow is the only arrow in your inventory it will visually disappear when you attempt to use it on a Bow or Crossbow. However if this is the case the Bow or Crossbow does not fire the arrow and the Magic Arrow re-appears on your next right click. Also, if you have the Magic Arrow in a higher hotbar slot than regular arrows and you use a Bow or Crossbow, the Magic Arrow will "flash" - quickly disappear and re-appear when you fire the bow, but the bows only use the regular arrows in your inventory. None of this affects the desired effect - I have not managed to get the Magic Arrow to disappear, but it would be useful for players to understand what is happening if they see their Magic Arrow is doing odd visual things when in use with Bows. Tl:dr, all the above instances are fixed
