Got mine changed by @iSneaky Here are a few notices: Iron / Gold ore still do not drop exp (This is what this bug report was filed for and idk if it is intended or not) Emeralds now do not drop 6 pieces and do not give EXP when mined
We have fixed our Magic Picks (as well as L2s). It seems as though the silk touch enchantment was causing issues with our code and with EXP drops. We had to remake the tools without the vanilla silk touch enchantment on them. (This of course doesn't effect the tools functionality, it still gives 6x as before, the enchantment was just visual). This now fixes EXP from the tools as well. Please contact an SA if you have one of these bad boys and they will exchange it for you.
Iron / gold ore are NOT supposed to give EXP, the only EXP you will get is from ores that could naturally drop experience in vanilla Minecraft. As for emeralds, when mined with a lvl1 and a lvl2 Magic Pickaxe, they only drop 1 gem per ore, instead of the 6 that they are supposed to. I was not able to replicate not getting EXP, with the lvl1 Magic Pick I got experience, and the lvl2 Magic Pickaxe, I got as listed, 3x more than the lvl1 tool. When you tested this, were you definitely in the mining world?
No I tested this in the main world - a few days ago I mined some emerald ore in the main world and got exp which lead me to believe that exp is enabled in the main world and is not exclusive to the mining world only
Iron/Gold are not meant to drop EXP. This is based on vanilla. Emerald ore has been fixed, however this fix will be live after our 1.16.3 release. Please keep us updated after the release and let us know if all is functioning well.
