Machiavellia- The First of Many...

*Clears throat* Hey everybody! Steve here, and I'd like to talk to you all about my first ever town, Machiavellia.​

First, let's do some background history. See, I used to not want to be a mayor. I said, "Spending all that time and money just for a town that'll probably go into disrepair anyways? Not for me." But then I started looking at towns that were all griefed up and I would think about how they could be better if they did this, this, and this. Finally I figured, you know what? I'll just make a town myself. And I did. ​

I spent weeks thinking up and planning what would become Machiavellia. I drew maps and outlines, I came up with town rules, I drew schematics for buildings. I wanted my town to be one that all ECC users would know about and remember. And to do that, I built something that nobody on ECC has ever built before AND that very few people have even built on Minecraft in general.​

And so, I cordially invite you to see for yourself, Echo Mountain. EcoCityCraft's first ever Ski Resort.​

Now you're probably thinking, "What's so special about a ski resort?" Well, I live in Colorado and I do A LOT of snowboarding (because skiing is laaaame lawlz), so I wanted to build something that was close to home. I could tell you that if I knew exactly how much time, effort, and especially money this project took me, I'd have never done it. It cost me well over 100k to build and it took me almost three months to complete. I had to build an entire mountain, cover it with trees and snow, build two houses on it, and make a working ski lift for it. AND IT'S NOT EVEN HALFWAY DONE. ​

That's right. Machiavellia is only the first town in a 400x400, 4-town Super City that I plan to build. The mountain I've built so far is only half of what it will eventually be, a massive resort spanning two towns total (the other half will be Breckenridge, and will sit to the east of Machiavellia and will practically mirror it). ​

But you don't need to sit here and hear about it. Why don't you take a look at the town yourself?​

As if I wasn't already full of myself.One of two identical mountain cabins. The white wall acts as a "canvas" meaning when you buy it (for only 10k), you can personalize it with your own insignia or whatever you choose.

Now, the mountain isn't necessarily the only feature Machiavellia has. We are proud to have several residents already, a town hall, a community farm of undetermined size, a town store, a horse stable (100% safe and tested), and 3, soon to be 4, beautiful prebuilt homes for sale. ​

Lastly, we will be having a party to celebrate Machiavellia's long awaited and official grand opening. It will be Saturday, August 24th beginning at 3pm EST. You can come, check out the town, do some skiing, buy some stuff, talk, eat, and buy more stuff. There will be plenty of food and potions for sale very cheap at the ski lodge restaurant, Steve's Snoasis Bar and Grill, so if anything, go for the food. This will be a black tie event so feel free to pm me an RSVP and invite all your friends too.​
