After looking at the LWC section I wanted to post this to try to make my life and the other Smod's lives a lot easier when we handle your LWC removal requests. So... when you file you app it really helps if you can do the following things: Include the co-ords in a command style; i.e instead of typing X: Y: Z:, it helps to do /tppos [X co-ord here] [Y co-ord here] [Z co-ord here] For example: /tppos 9700 63 -8128 Try to space the app out! It is a lot easier to read if it is spaced out well so we can read them quickly and get it done quicker. Include all the relevant paperwork! You will need: The town application link If it is an eviction: The eviction link/the screenshot of an ingame eviction This helps make our lives easier and it results in a quicker process for you! No one likes opening up their LWC removal to find that they missed something out! Thanks Guys!
No @AdmiralD this isn't an 'official' you must do this from now on kind of thread, just one that it would be nice of people could do the things listed- especially the coords one
Everything but the tppos is policy already, and you'll notice proper format for coordinates is extremely similar to what Taylor has asked (proper formatting is to list them like x y z, so like 2400 65 3400)
Thank you Taylor and N6 for replying and clarifying this. Not positive, but I think this is the way I have been doing these for quite a while.
I would like to add something to this: If you have a lock owned by "Unknown" and you need to search the UUID on a website, PLEASE copy & paste the UUID into the lwc request! For example, it would be helpful if you did this: 6. Who do these protections belong to? sick24 (12345678-1234-1234-1234-12345678) You don't need to include the UUID on every lwc removal, just the ones that appear as Unknown. kthxbye
Always make sure to double check your Coordinates and the Number of Locks being removed. This saves all of us a whole lot of time in not needing to write another LWC removal. Thanks
This is by far the hardest thing for me to do since I have not been able to figure out how to do a cut and paste - and my brain just does not work like it used to
Highlight the bit you want to copy- click and drag- then press Ctrl and C, the when you want to paste it press Ctrl and V
That does not seem to work for me in this situation - the chat screen does not allow that for some reason.
"- These protections must be unobstructed and the owner must be able to access them. This includes having the player on your town's permissions list if you have an Interact town flag set to deny." That, annoys the hell out of me! I remove the old users from my town and I file a lwc removal (Just makes most sense to me to do so.) the chests get removed no prob, Then I file a hand full more the next week then they all get denied because I dont have the users added to the town.. some mods dont follow that, and some do, Either get rid of this "rule" Or enforce it more! Sorry if this seemed rude, Just needs to be fixed.
Oh it won't work in game What I do is look at my logs: Click on the chest so you get the message on your screen, Now hit the windows key and r type %appdata% and click run/hit enter Now click on the folder called .minecraft Now the one that says logs Scroll down to the bottom and it is the one called latest log.txt Now scroll through this until you find the uuid- and do as I said before- ctrl and c to copy and ctrl and v to paste hope this helped @AdmiralD
If you don't post the UUID, or find out the username, you have the right to deny the LWC, That how it was when i made the post up for finding out the UUID for useres But something worth doing for users is when you find out the user that is 'unknown' Add them to a random chest in your town and then suddenly all there unknown locks are now renamed to that username Then when you file the lwc, all you have to do is put in there name rather then unknown and no one would know the wiser to it being a unknown before. Might be something that @AdmiralD could use. Id assume it still works as it was a bug that couldnt be fixed or wouldnt because theres no reason to fix it
