However, the users included in the town have been inactive and I have messaged both of them more than once to please remove the protected chests. No response has been given and I am wanting to remove the chests to allow myself to create the medevil town that myself and the owner aspire it to be.
Hello, in order to request lwc lock removals, there are several things you need to check. 1) are the users offline for more than 7 days? If they are, and /seen shows this (or if they do not show on /seen at all) then you can file an lwc removal request. 2) If you are evicting them or requesting them to remove locks, you must send an notice. Read these guidelines on how to send notices, and provide proof of it on the LWC removal request. Typically, you need to give 3 days notice. Note that if they have perms currently, you should not remove them from the town perm list until the 3 days has passed. If they did not have perms, you still need to alert them, and give them 3 days before you can file lwc removal. 3) If you are evicting more than 5 people from a town, you must form a thread in the town section of the forum, and alert all the people you intend to remove, that they have 7 days to collect their things and remove locks. If you cannot tag them on the forum thread in the town section of the forums, then you must send in-game mail or forum pm conversation, and provide that proof on the lwc removal request. The users you are doing an lwc removal of have both been online recently, and I cannot unlock their things. I see that you sent mail of some sort, please read the guidelines I linked above for how to properly show proof of mailing people. Additionaly, you should only file lwc removal requests when the time for the notice has expired. Not before. We will not leave open lwc removal requests to wait for the notice period to pass.
