Banners are currently the epic thing on ECC and having them looks so cool that others want them too... But with so many people wanting them, this increases the likelyhood of people stealing them. If its possible, can we add all forms of Banners to LWC lockable entities?
assuming the game code sees them similar to a sign. it would be possible. but as they were added in the same update as armor stands they could be possibly seen as an entity. entities are unable to be effected by any lwc commands like a cow or a pig. i would think that if it was possible it wouldnt be too hard to implement in game, similar to signs or obsidian.
I would tend towards the sign status. If it was an entity, the butcher would remove it as well. Also, they have a visible hitbox when aiming at them, unlikely with entities. This hitbox is smaller than a full block and thus resembles the hitbox of flowers and signs.
Several banners require wither skulls or creepers heads or other expensive materials to create. Who in their right mind would not want to protect a 750Nstar + banner?
That is all great and wonderful ... unless they steal it and the logs clear before you file your grief report. Still not a great solution ... Lwc is a far better answer.
Rollbacks are only done if the /worth of the items is at least 7.5k. A banner is worth nothing, and its materials don't count.
Just saying... that the point of lwc is so people dont steal whats insinde something not the block itself, should we lwc's on diamond blocks?
Heads and obsidian can be locked as well. I don't think that we should lock diamond blocks because they are only worth $225 but a flag that requires a wither skull takes 750 nstars to make.
