Minecraft Username: kutless228 Brief Description: Sword was put in to the chest. Got on about a week later, sword is missing. Chest was placed and locked almost 8 months ago. No one has been add / removed / modify to the chest since about 5 months ago. but revanrose6 and HCPillarofFire and Joliver1998 was added to the chest to investigate. Instructions: /lock chest. Place sword in chest. Leave. Comeback. Look into chest. How many times did you recreate this bug?: This has happened one time only. I did not try to make it happen. I have placed about 4 stacks of cook steak into chest and they were there when I came back. Result: Sword is missing Expected Result: Sword not to go missing from a locked chest. Or I expect the lwc to work. Evidence: There is none because the logs have cleared.
If there's no evidence, then I can't quite investigate what happened. Do you know when this happened?
About 2 weeks ago. I don't have evidence because I restored my computer not too long ago and lost all screenshots.
If it was stolen emongolab is the only one modified to the chest that has been playing recently. Could the chat logs be checked to see if he has recently sold a melon sword and/or been paid $400,000+?
If the blocklogs don't show that he took it, then it's probably too old to check. And I will not check the logs to see if he perhaps sold a melonsword, because that proves absolutely nothing. As simple as it is, if there's no blocklogs, and other people are added to the chest then I don't see this as a bug.
kukelekuuk00 I have some evidence! I was looking at my email and I seen in my gmail trash folder a ScreenShot so I upload it this is the link: https://i.imgur.com/Y9oN3aU.png
Ok what what else can I do? I was just offline for like 2 weeks so I could try to get my grades up for school and I get back online and It was not in the chest.
kukelekuuk00 YES!!!!! I went to my dad's and on his PC was a Screenshot Now i have evidence of it look at the chat! See that Left chat Donator! ----->LINK<-----
That looks dark green, meaning the picture is really old. That's not evidence, that's just some old screenshot.
It's not possible for you to provide evidence. There's no block logs, nothing. The sword is probably somewhere else and you forgot or someone took it, or something similar. But it did NOT magically vanish into thin air.
ok if that is it why not log me and look and why not log emongolab the one that was trying to make it look like he did not have perms to the chest?
You're the one who gave him access to the chest, it's also your own responsibility to keep track of your own items. You can go look through your chests yourself, it's your own sword that's lost. You're implying it's sold, it may not have been. And even if it was, how would we know if it was your sword and not some other melonsword? From what I can tell it's simply negligence, you didn't keep track of your sword and someone took it, or you placed it somewhere else. If the chest glitched, the other items in it would've disappeared as well, which did not happen. The only other explanation is a rollback where you inventory gets rolled back, but chests don't. (aka, take sword out of chest, inventory rolls back, sword is not in the chest, nor in your inventory) But as you described, this happened over a longer timeframe and it didn't disappear in front of your eyes due to a crash or something. Anyway.. It's not a bug.
This is the issue. If emongolab did take the sword, and sold it (and I'm not saying he did), then there is nothing that can be done. You gave him access to the chest. This is the same as if the chets was unlocked, because it was unlocked... to emongolab. What kuke is saying is that, if this was a glitch or a bug, then they would look into it. But you have provided no evidence showing it was one. So as far as he is concerned, there is nothing to look into. If you had a contract that showed he could only borrow the sword, and had a logblock proof of him taking the sword out, then that would be something. If you had logblocks of the sword being put in and NO ONE taking it out and those logs were not cleared, it would be proof of something. But as it stands, you have shown no contract/agreement... you have shown that multiple people had access to the chest... and you have no reason to think it is a bug EXCEPT one person saying he didn't take it. That is not enough to go off of. All you have shown is that you had a sword. Put it into a chest where more people than just you had access to. Left for awhile. Came back. And now the sword is gone. There are so many other things that could have happened besides a bug. And all those are LEGAL as far as ECC rules are concerned.
