Since people win like 500k and stuff, it's not fun. People struggles to get some residency and mayor and they have like 2 millions from lotto, Can't we reduce limit to 50 again? Or at least 100?
100 tickets would still be at least 100,000$. Thats a lot. I like the lottos to be like 5-10 tickets, because I don't like big wins, as Plep said. So, yeah, please reduce the limit lower, you don't have to listen to our limit suggestion. I would just like the limit to be lower. It would make a change in life :3.
I do not vouch for this because barely anyone throws in a 100 tickets and things like what happened yesterday where headcase won 800k or something that is a really really really rare event that was the biggest win since the moment the lottery was put in and if this happens once every 2 months there is no problem and then there is the small chance of losing when you put in a lot of tickets. short: keep the limit at thousand because people going over 100 tickets is very rare and they are willing to take the risk of losing a lot of money
Plepp i lost 335K in the lotto last night in one round so you can't say that only the rich win.. Sometimes the rich loose and others become rich.
I do not see a need for the lottery limit to change, if it is brought back. Rarely do I ever see a pot go over 100k, it isnt the norm for the lottery. Players are getting rich fast from the lottery either, although I will admit some users do get a head by risking what they have in the lotto. The only times I have ever really seen the lottery get very large is when one or two players dump in a massive amount of tickets themselves. Which, in the end, they would have a better chance of winning. With that said, to really get the pot over 100,000 you would need multiple users willing to risk large sums of their money to push it up.
No. Lottery is OPTIONAL and is never recommended for users to use as a method to make money. This is exactly why I tell Builders to stray away from it,however - You've only been encouraging them. If you care so much about the users, don't promote the lottery towards them anymore.
Lottery =/= Investment I've lost more than $190k in the last week. It's just for fun, not for profit.
