HiiPeR_SiiLeNCe There should be different groups in the lotto. Whether it be a Res only, Tycoon only, etc. Or by the amount of tix allowed, ex: 1, 2-5, 6-10, 11-20, 21-40, 41-70, 71+ It could really help people out, as it is kind of unfair when higher people are buying a hundred tix, when some can barely afford a single one. The chances are totally unbalanced Link N/A
I've read about 10+ posts about lottery unfairness over "sniping" tickets and there isn't any reasonable reasons for changing lottery. Yes, the odds of you winning fall drastically when people with lots of ECD play but there's still a chance they'll lose it with betting more than half of the ticket pool. The risk involved in this is real and I've seen people lose hundreds of thousands over one round to a one ticket-er, not even being a Crazy Lotto. The general message concerning participation in the lottery is: "Don't put up money you're not willing to lose."
Lottery is the rich people game. Don't play with money you can't accept losing. It has never been there as an encouraged way to make money. The fact is, and all the rich people know this, its a way for us to tax the rich. It takes money out of the economy. Further, lottery irl is not fair. Lottery can't be fair or it isn't a lottery. Lotteries are always about chance. The more tickets in this case ='s more chance. Restricting the rich and poor alike from competing together only lowers the chances further of anyone 1 ticketing a large lottery. I had something like .005% chance of winning with the 1 ticket I had in, yet I won 5.2million. I threw that ticket in expecting to lose the money but sometimes, it makes a nice return.
Lottery is not meant to be fair. Here is a link to andrew's response to a similar suggetstion-> http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/suggestion-lotto.90578/
Lotto is a fair game. You say that its unfair that some players have more money than others and that they should not be allowed to buy the same things as players that haven't worked at all. This is just not making sense. Lotto is fair, 1 ticket gives you 1 chance to win, 67 tickets gives you 67 chances to win. I don't see any other problem than some players are a bit jealous on players that have worked hard. And why change something that works great? -1
The whole lotto is set up in a way where if you play the game over and over you will inevitably lose all your money. The lotto is meant to be unfair and will stay that way most likely.
And I have 1 ticketed Spoiler: Lotto Wins $425850 $350200 $198900 $77350 $56100 $47600 $39950 $29750 $17850 $17850 $17000 $16150 $14450 $12750 $12750 $12750 $11900 $10200 $10200 $10200 $7650 $6800 $5950 $5100 $3400 $2550 $1700 $1700 $1700 $1700 $850 $1,428,850 with just 31 tickets.
Unfair = 1 ticket beating 200 tickets? That seems ridiculously fair to me lol My suggestion don't blow so much money on lotto if u know there is a chance u will lose to a builder who bets 1k
