about an hour ago I put a music disc into my jukebox in my secured home, left to the mining world to find flowers and coal, and a building companion put it back in about 15 minutes ago and it wasn't touched since. I came home to find no disc on the ground like it usually is and I think it may have glitch despawned.
Jukeboxes can still be stolen from unless you /lock them. And items dropped on the ground will despawn in a minute while the chunk is loaded so :/
the companion said that the disc was put back into the jukebox after it was popped out by them due to the annoying noise it made and was left in there again. I came home to not find it in the jukebox or anywhere nearby
the disks sell for 100 each so if it was unlocked and someone happened on it they could have poped the disk and done what ever. do /lock @[comapnion name] to lock it and give your companion the ability to access it or let other access it too. (omit th [] that was to show you to replace this with their name )
I guess it must have been some major bad luck or something for some rando to just happen upon an open door in those lucky 15 minutes considerin nobody lives in the town aside from me, the mayor, and 4 other close building companions. besides this isn't the first time somebody has gotten into my base, the first time me having caught them in the act of trying to pilfer my upper levels, which is the main reason I put a lock on everything in the first place, aside from the jukebox...... case closed.
if you see me on line hit me up or ask for someone to set the nonmember interact flag on your town so that only members can access it. that would keep this to min for you.
