Hello, I was thinking about getting into the loaning business later. Any tips/strategies on how to do the loaning? Also, what would be a good interest rate and late fees? I'm not going to do it yet as I only have 1.5k and I really need that currently. Thanks!
Loaning isn't the best way to make money here, if that's what you like, then do it. I suggest you take a look at this thread: http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/feedback-loans-and-lending.55969/ Loaning a large of amount of money to someone isn't a wise idea. Most of the time you won't get your money back if you loan large amounts of money. The server doesn't support the loaning system, so use it at your own risk. Another thing I'll advice you is loan money to Residents+ only. Most builders won't pay you back. Some users might trick you because of your current rank. I rarely see builders giving out loans. If you're looking for ways to make money to rank up to resident, mining and farming are the way to go. SG is the quickest way to earn cash, however, you'll be killed by users with kits. Lastly, if you've agreed to give a loan to another user, I suggest you make a contract on the forums (you must wait until approved by mod before you send the user the money) and take screenshots of you sending the other user the loan money by double tapping f2. Payback and late fees are up to you, just make sure it's not som ridiculous payback and/or late fee. 1. Make contract on forum 2. Do it with mayor+ or very trusted lower rank 3. Make a collateral. If they fail to pay you back then you can get something of value from them (town or star tool).
