Minecraft Name: TURBOxN3RD Suggestion: Making it so that you can put links in signs. Reason: If you could put links in signs the possibilities are endless really. You could make them lead to a town thread or if you have a spawn shop and you want to list items that aren't able to be put in signs then you could send them to a thread with the items listed. Other Information: This could be added to a donation feature (extcreations maybe) that way that you can ensure that the links are trustworthy or server appropriate. The link should be ECC related and maybe put another sign telling what the link does. I know this has been suggested other times but I believe this is something that could be very beneficial to many town owners/shop keepers. +1, but how will it work? Do you right click the sign and it prompts you like when you press a link in chat?
Idk the answer to that as the plugin i found on bukkit didn't say. If you could implement that as well it would be another way to avoid being sent to sites that aren't up to ecc rules.
Hopefully this will be 3rd times a charm kind of thing. It was suggested 2 other times and was never answered by the upper management. I hope we can get this implemented as a donation feature or free feature. We could also make this something that has to be forum approved that way it will insure the links are within the ECC rules.
All links would need to somehow filter through a url cutter (make links smaller) Idk how this would be done as most links would be double lined on a sign making it possible so the link is broken and having many bugs If this can get worked over then I don't see why not + 1/2
@Assajj_Ventress when I looked at the plug in page it didn't show anything about that. Idk if the plug in itself would take care of that or auto wrap the link to fit the sign.
If only we could get that one person to see this thread it looks like a lot of people would benefit from it.
