One hour of mining using magic pick level 3 and no boosted redstone ore. Used /wild and flew around until found an opening in the ground for a cave (doesn't take very long at all). My strat was to surface mine in caves (exposed ores), generally between -30 and 40. I used /wild about 10 times to find fresh caves. Small sample size, but I mined iron with a L3 pick for 15 minute in a mountain that @Jerry_88 had previously excavated with a magic shovel. Haul: 592 iron block = $16,729.92 @ base price * 1.73 = $28,942.76 @ prestige price This comes out to an hourly rate of $66,919.68 @ base price and $115,771.05 @ prestige price
