Lets be optimistic about ECC

Less popular than a week ago*

I really don't think we're near closing down, and anyone saying that is just lying to themselves. All we really need is featured status on minecraftforum.net. That bumped up our totals by 20-30 and it would be great for us to be on there again. I'm sure it's worth the cost.

 

Hello sir I believe I have a valid argument to add to this thread. Last week we saw an average of 76 players online and this week the average is 75.8 players online. By doing the math and utilizing my amazing skills I have determined we will have 0 players in 380 weeks or 7 years. WE ARE DOOMED DOOMED I SAY.

 

At least we get to look forward to free Burger King!

A player count decrease doesn't mean the server is dying, it'd be dying if it was decreasing every day, and more recently it's been going up (Other than the recent drop caused by American's going back to school). Think about it, in July last year there were fewer people on at peak and off-peak, I think ECC is slowly but surely growing again.

 

-1 dumb/pointless drama threads about ECC dying are more amusing.

 

100 people on at one time is great for an mc server. I don't know why people think that we're gonna shut down.

I think ECC will regain a bit more popularity, thing is it doesn't appeal to the widest range of players. But there are lots of people out there who like this type of game.
Anyways I think ECC will reach a specific number of regulars and I don't think it will die out any time soon.

 

This server will gain plenty of new players when the hub minigames comes out. Which probably wont happen within the next decade. So it sounds like that 7 year thing you guys were talking about will be the doom of us.

 

In my opinion if we get more mini games and more lobbies and less regulated by staff we will get a lot of more players. Not to mention other servers but mostly servers with that features have a ton, and a TON I mean of users.
