I think @Snoopdaloo make a really good point here. Discord moves way too fast sometimes, and a lot of returning players from 3.0 aren’t on it at all. Having discussions here on the forums keeps things organized and gives everyone a chance to read/respond at their own pace. To help with that, here’s a recap of the latest official updates from Discord so forum users aren’t left out of the loop: Sept 4th – ClarinetPhoenix No reset — ECC is focused on stability first. Major plans: Economy & Gameplay, Player Retention, Modernization. Scavenger Hunt closed early, but new/improved one is coming. More events are planned soon. ECD Scramble fallout will be addressed. Sept 9th – Rank Revolution Rank up fully in-game (Builder → EcoLegend) without forum apps. Rank-ups now broadcast server-wide. Towns are separate from ranks — Mayors/Presidents can apply later when ready. Additional Towns purchasable at Mayor rank: Town #1 = 500k Town #2 = 750k Additional Town Application Form Sept 19th – Leadership Update Clar started a new job & Craved became a dad (congrats!). Leadership acknowledged the recent silence and is focusing on rebuilding trust and community. Goal: make ECC feel like “home” for all players again. ECD Scramble fallout: players who sold assets unfairly encouraged to PM Clar for case-by-case review. Sept 20th – Updates & Fixes ✅ Maintenance complete; all services back online. Mob spawns increased (Mining/Nether/End). Quest Points now an in-game balance system: /qp balance, /qc balance for totals. /qp top, /qc top for leaderboards. Quest Point Redemption Form In-Game Rankups finalized: Use /warp rankup and right-click the sign for your rank. Broadcast messages + keepsake tokens on rank-up. Mayors/Presidents can still claim towns via this form. ️ Additional towns confirmed at new pricing separate from mayor & president towns (500k/750k).
