Lag in the Market

It isn't just you.

 

Well it has to do with all the signs in the market which there is nothing that can be done about that. On the other hand it is also your computer as your processor is not able to work as efficiently. If you have not already I recommend you download and install optifine which should help your market experience.

 

Yeah, I get this too. Hard to work on a shop with all the lag

 

I've been on my account in the market on 3 different computers. The 1st's regular fps is around 25, and dropped to 1 in the market. The 2nd's normal frame rate is 70-80 and I got 2-3 at the market. The last one averages at 500 frames, and I was finally able to reach 13 fps.This is highly annoying, even the best of pcs can't handle the market. Maybe it should be spread out more?

 

Well my pc isn't the best I would consider it an average gaming pc and I can get a stable 30fps in the market

What's your average fps? No matter what I do I can never get a half decent frame rate in the market :/

 

I limit mine to 60 but on Hugh setting with a few mods around 400ish

Hmm, I'll try and allocate more RAM to minecraft, maybe that'll boost my speed a bit.

 

What CPU do you have?.

 

For my regular computer (laptop) I have a i5-3210M w/2.50 GHz. Not the best, but I can still get 90 frames if I don't have another game open.

 

well pfft my average is like 35 on my computors highest settings. no optifine

I use to lag in market place also. I average around 200 FPS anywhere normally, but then would lag in the market place. I installed opti-fine, downloaded the latest java (if you have a 64bit machine, download and install the 32 bit version then the 64 bit version right after it) and also boosted my RAM to 6GB which you can do in the options on the minecraft client (not the in game options). Now I get no lag at all in the marketplace.
