Instructions: 1. Go to Shop|Upgrade 2. Click Forum Upgrades 3. Look at the prices (prices are the same) How many times did you recreate this bug?:There really is no way to recreate this bug(besides buying both). I did click the "Purchase" button and see that they were both set at the same price. Result: There is no price difference between the two, which allows people to buy a better package for the same price as the lite package. Expected Result: There should be a price difference of some type, for they are two different packages. Evidence:
Yes, but you'd be surprised who would pay more for a sparkly name. Many games actually make their money purely on cosmetic pieces. Does it give them an advantage? No, but it looks cool. My reasoning for posting this was to point out the discrepancy. I might have overstated it when I said "two different packages", but they are in separate groups, even if the change between the two was small. If I had the money, I'd pay more for a sparkling name. It would be idiotic, but I would.
When I get this feature, I don't want my name glittery and sparkly. I would even pay more to make sure it doesn't happen. **Now on to the obligatory sarcasm since I have had a bad day**: Wait.. I have a choice? OK cool. Glad you can choose one feature to change your color to sparkles and I can choose one that doesn't. All is right with the world. **Honestly, I think stemmed from certain Staff wanting their names in "staff colors" and not gold. So it was actually a requested feature. It was made the same price as the original feature since it gives people the same perks. No reason to lower the price. If you want it sparkly, buy the original one that makes it so.**
I see what you mean by that. From the way I read the titles of their upgrades, the word "lite" meant a different thing than what it might have been intended as. If this is the way it is meant to be, go ahead and do whatever with this post. I was unaware of the backstory of stuff like this, for I am quite new.
The sole difference between the two is one is sparkly and the other isn't. I have forum lite for instance. I wanted the forum perks, not the color. My inbox was extremely full prior to the upgrade. I was deleting forum messages weekly. I am now 7% full on the 5000 inbox space thanks to Forum Lite. Basically its alternative if you like your rank color and/or hate sparkles.
