As this is a bug report moreso than a suggestion, I'm moving it to the bug report forum. Also tagging @KHobbits because this is an sg issue.
It isn't an sg issue as far as I know. Usually, when people get kicked for flying it means that they are lagging. This causes the player to move out of sync with how they should be moving, and the server recognizes this then kicks for flying or related. This happens often in SG because all of the stuff going on in the game causes players to lag more than regular gameplay.
That wouldn't be strictly correct though. A player isn't kicked because they are lagging. They are kicked because the server thinks they are flying, which is caused by lag. There's a subtle, but significant, difference between the two.
I assume this message comes from th original vanilla server.properties file, option "Disallow flying" (Or from an anti-fly plugin, I'll guess the first one though). And yes, I think (that it is good) that this won't be changed - after all the normal vanilla Mineraft server allows flying if there is a client mod installed. Disabling this would create the need for a plugin that prevents it - maybe it would work a little better, but I have no idea whether it may interfere with other ECC plugins. That was the opinion of a player who likes to use Bukkit plugins on a PC-Internal server to spice up singleplayer with features (Though not familiar with anti-fly plugins). Thanks for reading anyway! -314 a.k.a. Pi-
This thread is going nowhere UNLESS you do this. It is a big movement. We can remove this kick and simply have a staff member on for monitoring this issue.
