Speed 8.8 seems to fix this issue. I was using speed 8.9 but I was getting this false kick ever so often. Ever since I lowered it to speed 8.8 it hasn't been an issue. If it doesn't help, keep lowering it until you don't get the false kick. Goodluck!

This one seems to be fixed, I haven't been kicked all day farming melons. I think I farmed for 3-4 hours.
