Please provide a video if possible. I am unable to reproduce this issue with an "ECC Axe" nor do I understand what you mean by "Collecting leaves with an ECC axe".
I was able to recreate it today. It also happened with a god axe, so I don't think it's tool specific.
Looks like I was able to reproduce this with a normal diamond axe as well. Seems to be an issue with our Anti-Cheat and mcMMO compatiblility. I have reported this to the Anti-Cheat developer.
