While the question was directed more at what Moofink wrote, she means that the old map will be available for a week to acquire the info needed to fill out the Town Redeem app if you wish to copy the town to the new map.
If you are redeeming the option to copy+paste your town, it will be in the form of the application posted + the normal Mayor town application. Still won't need to make the application until the new map is up and Andrew re-opens the server. Calm a bit and read slowly. :b I had to slow down my brain process last time, and others did, too. Was hectic and everyone was afraid they wouldn't get their town. You'll have plenty of time during the switch to do everything. [:
The Redeem Application is just like any other Mayor application. It can be found with the other mayor applications and it is posted in the same area as the other mayor applications.
