I just wanted to point out one little fact. For voting, there are major and minor raffle prize awarded. The major prize is 128 diamonds. The minor prize is $5000. It's time to raise the value and price of diamonds again. The minor prize is worth more than the major prize! Help me in raising the diamond price back above $100! ^_^
I want diamonds to go UP! Also, Andrew changed the major raffle prize to 128 Diamonds, 128 Emeralds, 128 Gold Ingots, and 128 Iron Ingots. I guess that make it better? Put in a suggestion to change it.
Yup last months major was changed as Ryan stated. I have high hopes that the vote reminder might have actually helped me win something this month. RagMan
I had a few thoughts about this (raising diamonds and other prices)..... Perhaps the server should enable the ability to sell diamonds to the server. I'd like to see it give $100 per diamond, but maybe $75 or $50 or something else will work. This change should only be temporary and last a few days or up to a week. This would cause all players to dump their current inventories which will ultimately level out the market. Once this happens, the ability to sell to the server can once again be disabled and will lead the market to "regulate itself." One consideration to this is that the price the server offers has to be carefully calculated. If the price is set to $40 for example, players wont unload their entire inventories in the assumption that they will be more valuable after the fact. Maybe the server might have to bite the bullet and offer more than their worth. Secondly, I would like to see the frequency of resets to the Mining World and Nether reduced. It seems that the last 2 or 3 resets have occurred on 3 week intervals. This has caused an overabundance of pretty much every mined material. As a very unfortunate side effect, the markets have worked tooth and nail to undercut everyone else and now, most items are selling for less than their worth in time and possession. And another thing.... I would like to see the prices in the server shop increased. I feel that the server store should run like an apple store and charge 20x the value of an item. Any items purchased in these stores directly shrinks the economy by taking money out of it. Since this is an economy server, emphasis should be placed on player to player trades. I feel that the server store should be viewed as a back up, or a last resort to buy items for lazy people if needed. my $0.02.
