Dear members of Ecocitycraft, I am so thrilled to have been offered a position on the Ecocitycraft wiki team by Netherstar Game Admin Skylexia. I have accepted this position with great enthusiasm, and I look forward to expanding the knowledgebase resources that Ecocitycraft players need/want. My first task is to update/reorganize the Towns portal wiki page. I have not used the MediaWiki system in awhile, so I am right now brushing up on it's syntax features. My second task is to assist Revanrose6 with creation of a comprehensive listing and history of all towns on Ecocitycraft. But I do not wish to limit my efforts there. Though I think the Ecocitycraft server is such an awesome place with great staff and leadership, it is you the players that make Ecocitycraft the best minecraft server. While I am working on these two goals, I also wish to work on other things. Please let me know what new things can benefit you on the wiki, and if there is any old material that you would wish to be revamped or updated. I wish to make all of you proud. -OnSceneReporter
Wow! Congrats, its great to see you in this position! I would like if you do something similar to what clou44 did with a spawn shop map rather than list. If you just include the name of the current owner of each shop, and the number of each shop, I think it would be really beneficial for people getting around the market. Also, I know it is a tough job, but having an entire map of all the main world and towns. This seems very difficult, but it would be pretty awesome if the team could pull it off.
A world map would be very very large, it just isn't really practical. I agree that a spawn shop map is helpful, I've already used the one that I made to direct players to different shops.
I currently have a market map thread- i can make a wiki page for it. as for keeping track of who owns what... i can try to do that... but I wouldn't make a new map every time. I feel though that you can search the expiry thread for up to date names... I have reworked the trade sign tutorial page becuase I felt it didn;t make sense to me. Tell me your thoughts. I have also updated the portal wiki page. I'll try making the market page and see how it goes
